Africa-Press – Cape verde. Three secondary schools in Santa Catarina and one in Picos organized a joint careers fair today to inform their students about technical vocational and higher education courses.
This second edition, which returns four years later, will take place throughout the day in the Assomada multipurpose hall in the municipality of Santa Catarina and will involve the participation of the Grão-Duque Henri Technical School (ETGDH), the Amílcar Cabral High School and the Armando Napoleão Fernandes Secondary School in Santa Catarina and the Carlos Alberto Gonçalves Secondary School in São Salvador do Mundo (Picos).
Arlindo Mendes, the director of ETGDH, said that they aim to guide, support, and inform students in the 9th and 12th grades about the curricular areas, career paths, or university courses they wish to pursue.
He added that this event will complement the work that all these schools have done in terms of vocational guidance and awareness-raising directed at students, especially those in the 12th grade, who still lack information.
