Africa-Press – Cape verde. The UCID candidacy schedule has been changed at short notice and is sometimes announced after noon and as of today there is still no defined schedule nor possible locations where campaign activities will be carried out.
The PAICV candidacy has two rallies planned, one in the village of Patim, south of the municipality of São Filipe and another in the neighborhood of Terra Branca/Columbia.
Before the rallies, campaign teams will once again visit the town of Patim and the neighborhood of Terra Branca/Columbia to recap undecided voters, as well as in the upper north and lower north zones.
The candidacy of the Movement for Democracy (MpD) has scheduled a rally in the town of Lomba, at the end of the day, and intensifies door-to-door contacts in Monte Grande, Salto, Monte Preto, Albarca, Domingos Ledo, Às-Hortas and Pedro Man and in the neighborhoods of Beltches and Achada São Filipe, through teams on the ground.
In the race for the presidency of the São Filipe City Council, Nuías Silva (PAICV), António Cardoso (MpD) and Egídio de Pina (UCID) are competing.
In the 2020 elections, the MpD won 14 municipal councils, while the PAICV elected eight mayors.
