Africa-Press – Cape verde. As of Thursday the 17th, the island of São Vicente will have the first private hospital in Cape Verde. This is the Urgimed Health & Hospitality that will be inaugurated in Cruz João Évora, in the city of Mindelo.
The first private hospital in Cape Verde, according to a note, brings more options to Cape Verdeans and beyond, in terms of care, interventions and procedures in the health sector.
The health structure will have gynecological-obstetrics, orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, various surgeries, maternity and even 24-hour emergency services available to the public.
The opening ceremony takes place this Thursday, the 17th, and will be attended by distinguished guests, including Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva.
The event will take place from 4 pm and the program includes speeches and various interventions, blessing of the building by the Bishop of the Diocese of Mindelo, music, among other moments.
