Uni-CV launches a contest of ideas aimed at promoting sustainable tourism on the island of Santiago

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The University of Cabo Verde, through the Center for Entrepreneurship and Service Provision, has opened until April 5, the Contest for “Business Ideas in Sustainable Tourism on the island of Santiago”, at the scope of the Empreatur Project.

The project, according to the institution, aims to strengthen the ecosystem of the tourism sector on the island of Santiago, through the promotion of young entrepreneurship in terms of tourism.

As a partner, Uni-CV has the University Of Vigo, Spain, and the project will be financed by Spanish Cooperation, through the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID).

The aforementioned competition includes two stages, the first, the pre-incubation and incubation of business ideas, which will be developed in three phases, that is, it starts with the launch of the competition and selection of candidates, the second includes face-to-face training and online for a week, and finally, the follow-up and final evaluation.
