Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics of Cape Verde (INMG) reported today that the rain that has been falling, a little throughout the country, will continue tomorrow, Saturday, September 3rd.
According to a press release, the INMG advances that the weather “continues to be conditioned by a vast area of instability”, with the passage of a tropical system, laden with “a lot of humidity”, over the archipelago.
In this scenario described, rainy weather will continue on all the islands, and on Saturday the rains may be more intense, first in Sotavento and then in Barlavento, starting at night, with reduced visibility during the occurrence of precipitation.
The wind will also continue “without much change”, blowing moderately.
Regarding the state of the sea, the INMG says that there is no significant increase expected, “with periods of marked reduction in coastal areas”.
Remember that in recent days it has rained practically all over the country, due to the passage of a tropical system. Even on the morning of this Friday, some rain has already fallen in the city of Praia.
