Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) has teamed up with the International Trade Centre (ITC), with support from the European Union (EU), to create an educational video focused on the European Union – Southern African Development Community Economic Partnership Agreement (EUSADC EPA).
This initiative aims to enhance awareness of export market opportunities available to businesses in Eswatini under this agreement.
Purpose of the Educational Video
Thandeka Dlamini, the Manager of External Trade Promotion at EIPA, emphasized that the video serves not only as an informational resource but also as a call to action for increasing Eswatini’s exports. The video highlights success stories and the benefits of the preferential market access provided by the EUSADC EPA, showcasing how local businesses can thrive in international markets with the right support and knowledge.
Video Formats and Accessibility
The educational video is available in three formats: 60 seconds, two minutes, and nine minutes.
The 60-second version can be viewed on EIPA’s Facebook and Instagram pages, while the longer versions can be accessed through a provided link: Watch the Video https://0fj.cc/dmlPnyOc6l0.
Encouragement for Local Businesses
Dlamini encourages businesses in Eswatini to watch the video to understand how they can prepare to expand their exports to the EU. The EUSADC EPA opens up a market of 27 member states with a combined population of approximately 450 million people, presenting significant opportunities for local SMEs to capitalize on.
This partnership and the resulting educational materials are crucial steps in promoting trade and economic development in Eswatini.
