The Ministry of Agriculture has announced that the Mpisi Veterinary and Farmer Training Centre (VFTC) is now accepting applications for its 2025–2027 Veterinary Assistant Training Programme. This is a significant opportunity for young people passionate about animal care and agriculture.
This programme offers specialised training aimed at equipping aspiring veterinary assistants with the knowledge and skills required to contribute meaningfully to Eswatini’s growing agricultural and veterinary sectors.
According to the Ministry, interested candidates can access application forms and a detailed prospectus which outlines training fees and general conduct starting from 7 July 2025. Forms will be available for download on the Eswatini Government website (www.gov.sz) or can be collected in person from the Mpisi Training Centre.
The application deadline is set for 31 July 2025, giving applicants a full month to prepare and submit the required documents.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the recruitment process.This initiative is seen as a critical step toward strengthening Eswatini’s agricultural workforce, while also creating career opportunities for young people across the country.
