Africa-Press – Eswatini. Team Eswatini has made a powerful and electrifying start at the SSA Level 2 Swimming Championships currently underway in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, securing both podium finishes and setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting competition.
The young swimmers wasted no time in making their presence felt, delivering impressive performances in the opening events. Mukelwe Zwane emerged as one of the standout athletes for the team after clinching a bronze medal in the Girls 12-year-olds 50m breaststroke. Her performance not only earned Eswatini an early spot on the medal table but also highlighted the growing strength of the country’s youth swimming talent.
Adding to the excitement, Team Eswatini celebrated a remarkable gold medal victory in the Men’s 12 and Under 4x50m medley relay. The quartet of Kai du Pont, Max Wolverson, Sekukahle Mthethwa and Vuyo Kunene showcased exceptional teamwork, coordination and determination to outpace their competitors and secure top honours.
