Africa-Press – Eswatini. SINCEPHETELO Motor Vehicle Accident Fund Board Chairman Zithulele Gina has thanked His Majesty King Mswati III for his visionary leadership and mass contribution towards the development of sports in the country.

He made these remarks during the Ingwenyama Cup awards ceremony held at Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on Friday.

“On behalf of the Sincephetelo MVA Fund Board of Directors, management and staff, I extend our heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support and visionary leadership that has made the Ingwenyama Cup a resounding success.

Your Majesty, this prestigious tournament has not only brought together the spirit of sports and culture but also united our nation in a unique and inspiring way,” he said. Gina then highlighted the critical role played by the fund in the society.

“The fund was established with a noble mandate: to compensate and rehabilitate victims of road accidents. This mission is not just a duty but a profound responsibility that we uphold with the utmost dedication.

“The fund is committed to providing financial assistance, medical care, and rehabilitation services to those affected by these tragic events. Our goal is to ensure that every victim receives the support they need to rebuild their lives and regain their independence,” he said.

He said through the support of His Majesty and the collaboration with various stakeholders, they had made significant strides in fulfilling their mandate.

“The Ingwenyama Cup has given us a platform to reach out to the masses and raise awareness about road safety. By integrating sports and culture, we have successfully communicated vital road safety messages in a way that resonates with the people.

“We are proud to report that our efforts have not gone unnoticed. The fund has processed and settled a substantial number of claims, providing much-needed relief to countless families.

Moreover, our public awareness campaigns have instilled positive road safety attitudes among road users, contributing to the overall reduction of road accidents,” he said.

The Sincephetelo MVA Fund remains steadfast in its commitment to enhancing road safety and providing comprehensive support to accident victims.

“We recognise that there is still much work to be done, and we are prepared to face these challenges with renewed vigour and determination.

“Our future initiatives will focus on strengthening our partnerships with key stakeholders, improving our operational efficiency, and exploring innovative ways to promote road safety. We are confident that with your continued guidance and support, we will achieve even greater success in our mission.”

Gina expressed their profound gratitude to Prince Hlangabeza for his exceptional leadership in steering the Ingwenyama Cup to new heights.

“His dedication and commitment have been instrumental in the success of this initiative. I also extend my sincere thanks to my fellow board members, management, and staff of the Sincephetelo MVA Fund for their tireless efforts and unwavering dedication.

Their hard work has been pivotal in delivering our mandate effectively.”

He said they were equally-grateful to their stakeholders, government, and the Eswatini nation for their invaluable support and collaboration.

“Together, we have made significant progress, and we look forward to continuing this journey with the same spirit of unity and cooperation.

“Your Majesty, as we celebrate the success of the Ingwenyama Cup, we are reminded of the profound impact that sports and culture have on our nation.
