Africa-Press – Eswatini. FOOTBALL fans can expect a thriller when capital city giants Mbabane Swallows and Mbabane Highlanders renew their rivalry in the 2023 MoMo Cup match on Saturday.

This will be during the play-offs to be played at Mavuso Sports Centre.

The other exciting encounter will see NFD side Pigg’s Black Swallows face-off with newcomers in Lozitha Spurs.

This is according to a draw conducted at Sigwaca House yesterday.

The teams will be fighting for a spot in the semi-finals of the tournament.

The ‘Black Bull’ and Black Swallows will be hosts on the day.

There was a sigh of relief among Lozitha Spurs and Black Swallows officials after the two Mbabane giants were drawn against each other.

This was a clear sign that their wish was to avoid the big guns.

The winners of the day will joining defending champions Nsingizini Hotspurs and Moneni Pirates in the semi-finals to be played on October 1.

Premier League of Eswatini Chief executive Officer Kenneth Makhanya said he was happy that the draw was free and fair, promising to give more details in due course.

Admission is E50, payable at the entrance. Makhanya said they would have a perfect system to verify the tickets on the day to avoid confusion. A total of 5 000 tickets will be printed.
