Africa-Press – Eswatini. Eswatini artists Bless LePoet, TN$ Savvy and Double TV release “Imali”.
Eswatini’s thriving creative scene has welcomed another powerful collaboration with the release of “Imali”, a Hip-Hop Poetry track by Bless LePoet, TN$ Savvy, and Double TV. The song dropped on August 4, 2025, and is now available across all major digital platforms, including Spotify, TikTok, and via this link.
Bless LePoet, born Sibusiso Shongwe, has carved out a name for himself since he began writing poetry in 2021. Known for his poignant storytelling and distinctive spoken-word delivery, his work has been featured on Uneswa FM, EBIS, and Eswatini TV. His growing list of accolades includes nominations at the 2023 Swazi Fest Writer’s Awards for Poetic Writer of the Year and the Jumbo Festival Award for Personality of the Year. His poems have even found their way into films such as Buciko Benhlitiyo and Forest Film Eswatini.
Bless LePoet’s influence stretches beyond Eswatini, with features in the U.S.-based Pepper Magazine and collaborations with artists from South Africa, Lesotho, Malawi, and Ghana, alongside numerous local talents. His previous projects have explored themes of resilience, identity, and social awareness — qualities that shine through in “Imali”.
The title, which translates to “Money,” delves into how early life experiences, cultural narratives, and personal history shape financial habits. From spending and saving to investing and giving, the track reflects on the deeper emotional and psychological connections people have with money, urging listeners to understand their financial story and make positive changes.
The song’s hook and chorus are performed by Double TV, an independent Afro-pop songwriter and On & Offs hitmaker, while the second verse features TN$ Savvy (Nhlakanipho Shongwe), a versatile producer, audio engineer, and DJ with a passion for Amapiano and cross-genre experimentation. The track was produced at WiseEagle Records by TN$ Savvy, who also has his own Amapiano track titled “Imali”.
Beyond the single, Bless LePoet and collaborator Bob Musician have teased the release of Bars2Bars Cypher S4. “The cypher is coming, trust me. It will be such a beautiful piece. I’m so proud of it,” Bless said. Bob Musician added that they are perfecting the mixing and mastering for a world-class finish, with production assistance from King Mzesh. The release date remains under wraps, but anticipation is building.
For now, fans can immerse themselves in “Imali”, a track that fuses poetry, rap, and soulful melodies to inspire a deeper conversation about money and mindset, proving that Bless LePoet and his collaborators continue to push creative boundaries in Eswatini’s music scene.
