CELUMUSA SHARES INSPIRATION BEHIND NEW LOVE SONG

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Local musician and renowned guitarist Celumusa Mkhaliphi is set to release a new love song titled Sondzela in March on all digital platforms.

Mkhaliphi, whose soulful melodies and captivating guitar riffs have earned him a dedicated following, expressed his excitement about the upcoming single. “February is a month for love, and I wanted to create a song that resonates with that spirit,” he explained. “Although it won’t be ready in time for Valentine’s Day, I believe it will still capture the essence of love when it’s released.”

The song, which features heartfelt lyrics, revolves around a man complimenting his girlfriend’s beauty and promising her a future filled with love and happiness. “It’s a love song that speaks to the emotions we all feel when we’re in love,” shared the artist. “I wanted to create something that people can relate to and feel inspired by.”

The song was produced by Nkhosinathi Dube. The duo worked together in their bedroom studio, crafting the beat in just 20 minutes. “After finishing the beat, I jumped right into creating the hook and the first verse,” revealed the artist.

They later put the finishing touches on the song, with Mkhaliphi introducing a vibrant guitar melody that transformed the track into an upbeat afro-pop anthem. “This one is going to be a great song,” he confidently stated. “I would love to urge people to stream it when it’s released, as it will be available on all digital platforms by March.”

He also hinted at more exciting projects in the pipeline, stating, “I am planning to collaborate with more artists, both locally and internationally. I want to expand my musical horizons and bring new sounds to my fans.” Additionally, he expressed his eagerness to engage with his audience through live performances.

Mkhaliphi turned professional in 2019 when he released his first Extended Playlist (EP) titled Tears. He has performed at the first edition of the Eswatini Farmers Market in 2022, as well as at Mdzimba View Shisanyama, 23:28 Lounge, and Polar Park. He was also featured on MTN Caller Tunes in 2020.
