Africa-Press – Eswatini. Green Mamba Coach Ernest Mavuso got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The MTN Premier League winning coach alongside MTN National First Division outstanding Gaffer Mthunzi Ginindza, have been invited for a week-long attachment by South Africa’s DStv Premiership side SuperSport United during the period July 10 -14, 2023. The three-time league winners are coached by renowned Coach Gavin Hunt. The duo is set to leave the country next week Sunday for Pretoria,South Africa, where the DStv Premiership side is based. They will hit the ground running on Monday where they are expected to attend to the team’s pre-season training. This was confirmed by FIFA-Accredited Agent Dingane Maduma yesterday. The latter facilitated the attachment. “Coach Gavin Hunt did promise that the league winning coaches both in the elite and NFD will get a week-long attachment with SuperSport,” said Maduma.

Green Mamba Coach Mavuso also confirmed learning about the opportunity. “Yes, I’m aware of that attachment and I ‘m honoured to have qualified to partake in it. I’m looking forward to it and I hope to learn a lot from Hunt,” said Mavuso. He said this was huge for his career as a coach and was hoping to implement what they would learn during the attachment to their respective teams. Rangers Coach Mthunzi Ginindza also said he was overwhelmed by the news. “We will learn how to prepare a team for pre-season training. The fact that we will be attached to one of the biggest teams in South Africa is also an achievement for me,” said Ginindza. He said he hoped such an opportunity would surely open doors for other coaches.
