Africa-Press – Eswatini. TOP Models Eswatini were awarded several luxuries to enjoy this festive season.
According to Director, Mbalenhle Manana, the models awarded were the ones that had done exceptionally well at all the fashion shows they attended this year such as the Eswatini International Fashion Week, Eswatini Biggest Braai, Eswatini Epig Gig Fashion Week, Eswatini Fashion Fair, the Phakama Mpumalanga Festival in Mbombela, World Golf Cultures Johannesburg, Fashion Finance Faith at Sharma House and at Manzini Glam Fashion Show.
These are Nonjebo Lusenga, Wendy Baxter and Nontsetselelo Dlamini.
Manana said, the ladies had received a weekend get away from The Bethel Court, a spa day to be enjoyed at Cuddle Puddle in Ezulwini, lunch date at Mdzimba View Shisanyama and a packaged cosmetic gift worth E2 750 each at Edgars, in Mbabane.
“I am very happy with the dedication, determination and focus shown by the ladies. I personally know the passion they have for modelling as they have proved that through making themselves available at all times for rehearsals for fashion shows or any job they are hired to do, even at awkward times. they are just reliable.”
When we travel for international gigs the models are complimented by the hosts and designers. They have told me the ladies are amazing on the runway and always keen to book them for upcoming shows,” she said.
Manana requested for support from companies or individuals to assist her models in exceling in what they do and love wholeheartedly.
“I still want more for them just to make them happy. They are not doing it for the agency but flying the country’s flag high too as Top Models Eswatini is internationally recognised,” she added.
Mbabane Edgars Cosmetics Manager, Patricia Dlamini said they were happy to give away the cosmetic hampers to the three models and to have supported Top Models Eswatini, who they have had a relationship for years now.
“This is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility which is to give back to society and we are very happy to have supported. We are always elated to give back where we can.
We have done a lot with the modelling agency, as they have showcased our winter and summer wear,” said Dlamini.
The hampers have lipsticks, eye shadows and perfumes to name a few.
She added that as models, colour was a big part of their work as they needed to pop when they represent their own brand and others.
