In a remarkable showcase of talent and cultural heritage, the Dlangeni Traditional Dance Group emerged victorious in the 2025 Culture Competition held at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in Manzini, coinciding with the Eswatini International Trade Fair, which ran from August 29, 2025 to September 8, 2025.
This year’s competition was proudly sponsored by the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture and Mula Sport, bringing together diverse teams from rural areas and the armed forces, allowing participants to express their vibrant cultural identities through traditional performances.
The event featured multiple categories, including Lutsango and Sibhaca, with teams representing various communities such as Dlangeni, Ngculwini, Buseleni, and Zulwini. Additionally, the competition welcomed teams from Eswatini’s security forces, including the Eswatini Royal Police, His Majesty’s Correctional Services, and the Umbutfo Defence Force.
