Africa-Press – Eswatini. ESWATINI Football Association (EFA) top executive members Steve Horton, Dr Comfort Shongwe and Mashumi Shongwe are through to the secondary elections slated for September 29.

This comes after they passed through the primary elections conducted by the Elections and Boundaries Commission on Saturday in their respective chiefdoms under Nkomiyahlaba, Manzini North and Shiselweni II constituencies.

However, another EFA executive member Nichodemus ‘Ace’ Mashwama bit the dust under Mhlume Inkhundla.

Reacting after the defeat, Mashwama said he had no bitter feelings.

“I accept the outcome of the defeat. There is always a winner and loser, and I will pick myself up. Life has to go on,” said the Lubombo Regional Football Association chairperson.

Meanwhile, Eswatini Sport and Recreation Council Chairperson, Celucolo ‘Dino’ Dlamini has progressed to the next stage following his victory under Kukhanyeni Inkhundla.

Tambankulu Callies boss Sithembiso ‘Ngudze’ Mamba won under Gilgal Inkhundla with Seven Dreams Chairman Bishop Bhekibandla Vilakati winning at Ngwempisi.

Mbabane Swallows duo of Felix Badenhorst and Wonder ‘Samba Jive’ Nhleko’s dreams to join politics were shattered as they both lost out on Saturday.

Badenhorst lost to Moshoeshoe Nkambule at Siphofaneni, while Nhleko was contesting under Gege Inkhundla.
