The Eswatini government made this commitment when it took part in the 45th Ordinary Summit of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Heads of State and Government, held in Antananarivo, Madagascar. This summit gathered leaders from SADC member states to deliberate on critical regional issues such as:

– Energy transition
– Regional peace and security mechanisms
The Eswatini delegation was led by Thab’sile Mlangeni, the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Planning and Development.
