EWSC SHOWCASES DIGITAL INNOVATIONS AT THE INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Day 5 of the Eswatini International Trade Fair saw visitors stopping by the Eswatini Water Services Corporation (EWSC) stand to explore the Corporation’s theme for this year: Digitally Connecting Every Drop.

At the stand, customers are experiencing firsthand demonstrations of EWSC’s progress in metering — from traditional systems to the newly introduced Prepaid Water Kiosks and Prepaid Smart Meter which are transforming the way emaSwati access and manage water. The prepaid kiosks and prepaid metering, already being rolled out in select communities, are designed to improve accessibility, promote transparency, and ensure efficiency in water service delivery. Visitors are also being guided on how to make the most of EWSC’s digital platforms, including the EWSC Mobile App and the virtual assistant Temanti, which make managing accounts and accessing services simpler and more convenient.

In addition, visitors are being educated about EWSC’s national coverage, showcasing how the Corporation continues to expand its footprint across the country to reach more communities with safe and reliable water.

As part of its customer appreciation efforts, EWSC has also introduced an exciting incentive for those who honour their water bills during the Trade Fair. Customers who visit the EWSC Stand and settle or top up their accounts with a minimum payment of E500 stand a chance to win appreciation prizes from the Corporation. This initiative forms part of EWSC’s broader drive to encourage a culture of consistent bill payment, ensuring the sustainability of water services across Eswatini.

EWSC’s presence at the Trade Fair is not just about showcasing innovation but also about building stronger relationships with customers, empowering communities, and reinforcing the importance of responsible water management.
