Africa-Press – Eswatini. Thulisile Dladla, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has signed a cooperative agreement with Indonesia.
According to Government online platforms, the signing of the agreement was witnessed by His Majesty King Mswati and Indonesian President His Excellency Joko Widodo on Thursday.
“His Majesty King Mswati III has witnessed the signing of a Joint Cooperative Agreement between the Kingdom of Eswatini and the Republic of Indonesia. Also present at the signing, which took place at the Istana Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, Indonesia, was Indonesia President H.E Joko Widodo.The signing comes after fruitful engagements between His Majesty and the Indonesian President on Wednesday, in a bid to attract investments to the Kingdom of Eswatini in order to create employment and grow the country’s economy.Foreign Affairs Minister Senator Thulisile Dladla and her Indonesian counterpart, Retno Marsudi, signed the cooperative agreement. The two ministers signed and exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries,” reads an online report published by eSwatini Government.
