Inyatsi Group Powers Eswatini'S Vision with Billion Investments

Africa-Press – Eswatini. It was a celebration of vision, leadership, and unstoppable ambition as the Inyatsi Vision Leadership Summit brought together the country’s top minds in business and governance at Royal Villas.

The powerful message echoed by both government and private sector leaders was clear: Eswatini is on a transformational path to First World status, and Inyatsi Group Holdings is not only walking that journey but building the road along the way.

Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade, Manqoba Khumalo, hailed Inyatsi as a “national asset” that embodies His Majesty King Mswati III’s vision of a prosperous and self-sustaining Eswatini.

“Inyatsi is not just growing profits, it’s growing people, jobs, skills, and the economy,” said Khumalo. “Their reach into six countries showcases that Eswatini’s talent and capacity are exportable and globally competitive.”

With over E4 billion in ongoing projects and a footprint across Southern Africa, Inyatsi is redefining what it means to be a proudly Swati multinational. Over 60 skilled emaSwati professionals are representing the country abroad under the Inyatsi banner, exporting more than services, they are exporting excellence.

A Billion-Emalangeni Boost for Eswatini

In one of the most powerful moments of the summit, Inyatsi announced it will inject over E1 billion in strategic investments to deepen its impact across key sectors:

• E250 million in Telecoms, through its game-changing Eswatini Mobile network, which now serves over 800,000 subscribers.

• E500 million in Manufacturing and Services, aimed at spurring industrial growth and innovation.

• E250 million in Mining, unlocking mineral wealth and adding local value.

This diversification aligns directly with Eswatini’s Strategic Roadmap, supporting job creation, digital inclusion, infrastructure development, and economic resilience.

A Legacy of Empowerment

Delivering a heartfelt address, Inyatsi Group Executive Committee Member Dr Thokozani Nkambule described the company as a “legacy project”, born of a dream in Eswatini, now transforming lives across borders.

“Inyatsi is not just a business. It is a legacy project,” said Dr Nkambule. “We are driven by a belief that growth must uplift communities and leadership must be rooted in values.”

Those values, Agility, Accountability, Embracing Change, Teamwork, and Commitment, continue to shape Inyatsi’s culture. With over 6 000 local jobs and an annual wage bill of E700 million, Inyatsi fuels household incomes, dignity, and opportunity. Its vast network of 2 200 subcontractors and suppliers helps nurture a thriving SME ecosystem, while the E1.1 billion it contributes to the national fiscus highlights the company’s model of shared prosperity.

From Roads to Runways

Inyatsi’s imprint is visible across the country. The Gege–Sicunusa Road, a lifeline for rural communities, stands as a testament to its infrastructure prowess. The executive hangar at King Mswati III International Airport, the rise of Lidwala Insurance (now holding over 35% market share), and the growth of Embiveni Meat Markets further illustrate the company’s diverse, high-impact portfolio.

An Invitation to Dream Bigger

Khumalo closed by inviting other local businesses to draw inspiration from Inyatsi’s model:

“We encourage more companies to invest locally, build sustainably, and think globally. Government is ready to partner with all who align with our national goals.”

Inyatsi is indeed proof that when purpose meets performance, the possibilities are endless. As the group continues to build infrastructure, businesses, and dreams, it also builds hope for a brighter, inclusive, and self-reliant Eswatini.
