Africa-Press – Eswatini. INGWENYAMA King Mswati III has relocated to the Hhohho region at Buhleni Royal Residence, as the Little Incwala gains momentum, building up to the main day.
His Majesty spent three days at Mbangweni Royal Residence, where throngs of Emaswati from all over the region and beyond gathered to partake in the ceremony, which has gained popularity among locals over the years.
His Majesty’s movement to the Hhohho region means the main Incwala is drawing closer as His Majesty has already been to three Royal residences.
The Hhohho Region is always the last one where the King commissions Ingaja from the region.
His Majesty is expected to dance with the nation at Buhleni Royal Residence for at least three days before commissioning the Ingaja,as the main day draws even closer.
Meanwhile, Her Majesty Indlovukazi continued to lead the dancing of the Little Incwala at Ludzidzini Royal Residence. The ceremony, which is now on day 10, saw Prime Minister Russell Dlamini joining the dance alongside minister of Public Works and Transport Chief Ndlaluhlaza Ndwandwe.
Emakhosikati, Emalangeni and chiefs were among the many Emaswati who were in attendance. Notable was that the ceremony attracts people of all age groups as the Ingaja, Imbali, Lutsango and Emajaha continued to flock in their numbers.
Notable presence was that of South African tourists who were in the company of Senate President Lindiwe Dlamini.
The group of five tourists also joined the nation and seemed to enjoy partaking in the country’s ceremony, which is among the important traditional ceremonies.
Karien Matthews said they really enjoyed partaking in the ceremony. “We loved it here and would love to participate in the main day. We love it here and would love to stay here,” she said.
