Africa-Press – Eswatini. In the early morning hours on Tuesday, King Mswati’s State agents allegedly petrol bombed the home of Mlungisi Makhanya, the President of the People’s United Democratic Movement Movement(PUDEMO).
This comes a few days after this publication released ‘intercepted’ cellphone conversations where King Mswati’s Indvuna Themba Ginindza,revealed that they training a squad to burn political activists and their homes.
Reached for comments, PUDEMO President Mlungisi Makhanya confirmed the burning of his home.He said to prove that the mission was sponsored by the State, electricity was switched-off.
“It’s true, they bombed by home but there’s nothing we can do, it’s part of the journey to democracy, mafutsa endlela,” said the PUDEMO President.
Police Spokesperson Superintendent Phindile Vilakati had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
Ludzidzini Governor Themba Ginindza was exposed by the press confirming that the State was training a squad to burn political activists and their properties, this is contained in an electronic evidence and or ‘intercepted’ cellphone conversations.
PUDEMO National Organiser Panuel Malinga who rushed to Makhanya’s home said two bedrooms, a dining room and the kitchen was completely destroyed.
“I am here at the home of the President and we can confirm that two bedrooms, a dining room and the kitchen was completely destroyed,” said the PUDEMO National Organiser.
