Africa-Press – Eswatini. Nondumiso Simelane, the suspended Human Resources officer in the King’s Office allegedly manipulated accounts systems, included ghost employees in the payroll while stealing Mswati’s money.
As a result, the late Boy Mdluli, another deceased employee identified as Nhlabatsi and others have been earning salaries and, the money was allegedly cashed by the Human Resources officer who was subsequently suspended by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mgwagwa Gamedze.
King’s Office Spokesperson Percy Simelane said the reason behind the suspension cannot be disclosed.
“The response I got from the Chief Officer was that personal files for employees of the King’s Office are confidential and not subject to public discussion,” said the King’s Spokesperson.
On another note, fraud and corruption is allegedly rife within the King’s Office and it is alleged that, the Human Resources Officer has been cashing the money for years, the amount remains a subject of an investigation.
