KING’S VISIT: MANKAYANE RESIDENTS HOPEFUL FOR DEVELOPMENT

Africa-Press – Eswatini. MANKAYANE residents are hopeful that the king’s visit to the area will bring tremendous change to the infrastructure and business.

Even residents from neighbouring communities are excited about the king’s birthday being celebrated in Mankayane.

Ngwempisi Member of Parliament Bhekibandla Vilakati said he was happy for his community.

He thanked God that after a very long time, they would get the opportunity to spend time with the king.

“We are very happy, we will get to see the king this year after a very long time in history, we are blessed as Mankayane residents and we will always treasure the visit,” he said.

Vilakati said he was hopeful they would be great improvement in their community in terms of infrastructure because roads would be upgraded in preparation for the King’s birthday.

He said residents from Mankayane would come in the numbers to celebrate with the king.

Mahlangatja MP Mguciso Dlamini said the king’s visit would see businesses being resuscitated because many people would sell different products during the birthday celebration.

“Business owners will generate a lot of profit because they will be able to sell to a big audience during the big day,” said Dlamini.

The MP said it was good news that the King would celebrate his birthday in Mankayane, because where the Kings steps, things change for the better.

“I am without doubt that things will positively change in Mankayane because the King is paying a visit after a long time,” he said.

He said the King’s visit would be a huge blessing to members of the public because they would get the opportunity to unite in the presence of His Majesty and celebrate with him.
