Africa-Press – Eswatini. HIS Majesty King Mswati III continued to lead the regiment in the dancing of the Little Incwala at Mbangweni Royal Residence yesterday.
The ceremony continues to attract scores of people who join His Majesty in song and dance daily. Emakhosikati, Emazinyane, chiefs and Prime Minister Russell Dlamini were also among the regiment on the day.
Lacwebetelako, Lutsango and Imbali came in their numbers to be part of the ceremony.
As per the norm, His Majesty is expected to move to the Hhohho region at Buhleni Royal Residence where he is expected to spend about three days before commissioning the Ingaja.
The arrival at Ngabezweni Royal Residence of the ingaja from Hhohho region marks the start of activities leading to the Main Incwala ceremony.
His Majesty usually joins the Ingaja in the long walk to the site for the cutting of the Lusekwane shrubs. The long walk from Ngabezweni to Esikhaleni selusekwane tests the regiment’s fitneess and endurance.
