LITTLE INCWALA GAINS MOMENTUM

Africa-Press – Eswatini. The on-going Little Incwala gets bigger by the day as His Majesty King Mswati III led throngs of Emaswati in dancing at Buhleni Royal Residence yesterday.

Ingwenyama was joined by Emakhosikati, chiefs and Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini among the many people who came from around the Northern Hhohho region and beyond.

Different regiments, ranging from Ingaja, Imbali, Lutsango, Emajaha and the security forces were in high spirits as they joined Ingwenyama in singing Incwala songs.

Everyone dancing seemed to be enjoying every moment of the ceremony.

His Majesty’s movement to Buhleni Royal Residence has raised lots of speculation on when the main day will be, as the ceremony continues to gain momentum. Ingwenyama is expected to spend around three days or so before performing commissioning Ingaja from Northern Hhohho.

A number of prominent people in politics, business and members of various Emabandla joined in yesterday’s ceremony. Among these were Senator Chief Mphatfwa, Chief Jubiphathi Magagula and Chief Mabaleka Mncina, among others.

Liqoqo Chairman Paul Dlamini, Deputy Speaker Madala Mhlanga, Board of Trustees member Bishop Mavovo Mkhonto and Ludzidzini Council member Hlobisile Ndlovu were also spotted dancing and marvelling at the beautiful ceremony.

Church leaders, well-known as Bokhololo were also spotted dancing with the many people present on the day, including tourists.

The partly cloudy and warm weather made the day’s session an enjoyable one for attendants. Meanwhile, Her Majesty the Indlovukazi continues to lead other throngs of regiments in the dancing of Little Incwala at Ludzidzini Royal Residence.
