Africa-Press – Eswatini. Capital city giants Mbabane Swallows trio of Richard McCreesh, Enzo Motsa and Vukile Khumalo are facing the axe ahead of the new season kick-off.

Reports suggest that the players haven’t attended training since the team started preseason training a week ago.

Zimbabwean striker James Nguluve survived the chop.

A source close to the matter revealed that the Management Committee will soon serve the players with letters of termination.

“I’m not sure if the players are part of the coach’s plans this season. What I know is that they haven’t attended training since the preseason started and they will be served with letters soon,” said the source.

Swallows General Manager Sandile ‘Beyond 2000’ Zwane said the club would issue a statement about its affairs this afternoon when reached.

“We will give updates of the team tomorrow (today) which will cover a number of issues including the issue of players,” he said.

Meanwhile, other players who are yet to report to training are Bashir Mutanda (Uganda) and Kingsely Kwayki (Ghana).

The foreign duo is still at home waiting for their air tickets. The ‘Beautiful Birds’ are expected to assess a number of players before the commencement of the 2022/23 season next month.

The team recently lost the services of experienced midfielder Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu who joined ambitious outfit Green Mamba.
