Africa-Press – Eswatini. Memorie eNDee, the rising Amapiano artist from Mafucula, is set to make his mark on the music scene with the release of his highly anticipated debut single, “Spani,” dropping on June 30, 2025.
Born Nqobizwe Dlamini, Memorie is no stranger to hard work, determination, and ambition, which have driven his journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of Eswatini’s most promising new talents. The title “Spani”, which means “work” in siSwati, is more than just a song—it’s a declaration of his growth and resilience. “This is my first-ever single,” Memorie explains. “It tries to describe the power and potential I have now. Even if people try to stop me, they can’t. I’m becoming bigger and better in my music career.” The lyrics pack a punch: “Ngavula, ngeke basakhiya,” meaning “I’ve opened up, and they can no longer block me”. It’s a testament to his determination and unwavering confidence in his path forward.
Memorie’s journey into music started back in 2020, while he was still in Form 3 at Mafucula High School. Initially inspired by South African hip hop artist Emtee Da Hustler, Memorie began rapping along to his favourite tracks. However, over time, he was drawn to the vibrant, danceable beats of Amapiano, which quickly became his musical home.
His official breakthrough came with the track “Times of My Life,” collaboration with Zamtel ZS and TMZ Boiz, which helped him gain recognition within Eswatini’s Amapiano scene. Known for his lyrical authenticity and infectious energy, Memorie has been steadily building a fan base, and “Spani” promises to push his career even further.
Through “Spani,” Memorie is also delivering an empowering message to the youth. “I want to tell people: never let anyone stop you from doing what you believe will change your life. Focus on your goals, on your career,” he says.
With the release date just around the corner, Memorie is urging fans to stream, download, and share the track widely to help build momentum. “I want my fans to start using the sound on TikTok and share their posts with it. Let’s build the hype before June 30,” he says enthusiastically.
For Memorie, “Spani” isn’t just a debut—it’s the beginning of an exciting musical journey. With his passion and drive, he’s determined to make a name for himself in the ever-growing Amapiano scene.
