Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade has officially launched the 8th Edition of the Eswatini Quality Awards 2025, inviting companies and organisations across all sectors to participate in recognising excellence in quality and innovation.
The awards were launched by the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade, Manqoba Khumalo, who encouraged organisations to register for the awards. “Entry forms are available on the Government website www.gov.sz. I encourage you to enrol your organisation into the various categories. Please note, the deadline for submission is 30th September 2025 at 12:00 noon,” Minister Khumalo said.
Minister Khumalo emphasised the importance of adopting quality standards and systems, noting that they not only enhance competitiveness but also contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He highlighted internationally recognised systems such as ISO 22000 for Food Safety, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management, and ISO/IEC 15189 for Medical Laboratories, which help safeguard health, life, and the environment.
The awards feature six categories:
Eswatini Company/Organisation of the Year
Eswatini Product of the Year
Eswatini Service of the Year
Eswatini Exporter of the Year
Eswatini Quality Ambassador of the Year
Eswatini Conformity Assessment Body of the Year
Categories 1 to 4 accommodate both Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as well as Large Enterprises, providing equal opportunity for businesses of all sizes to showcase their excellence.
