Africa-Press – Eswatini. MONENI Pirates Management Committee’s term of office has elapsed.

This follows the decision made by the club’s authorities led by the Osborne Nzima-led board of directors.

The MC’s term of office elapsed at the end of the 2022/23 season.

Nzima thanked the outgoing MC led by Mhlonishwa Motsa for their efforts and dedication to the club.

“It pleases the president and Board of Directors of Moneni Pirates Football Club and Moneni Pirates (Pty) Ltd to announce that the team will be unveiling a new Management Committee in a few days. This follows an elapse of the term of office for the 2022/23 PLE season MC.

“The president and Board of Directors of the team were pleased with the work of the outgoing MC and wish to thank them for their effort and dedication to the club. We hope and believe they will avail themselves whenever they are called back to serve the Bucs nation in future.

“The spirit of unity and smooth transition displayed by the outgoing MC is highly commendable, and a refreshing experience for the team’s budding leadership and corporate entity. Lastly, we wish to thank the Bucs nation, supporters, fans and sympathisers for coming back to the stadiums last season. The 2022/23 season was a revelation for the team and we look forward, with even greater ambitions, to a fruitful 2023/24 season,” reads the statement.

The players and technical bench were also praised for their fighting spirit.

The ‘Sea Robbers’ ended the past season sitting at position seven with 34 points under the guidance of Zimbabwean mentor Ikabort Masocha.
