Africa-Press – Eswatini. Wandile Mtshali, the MTN Eswatini Chief Executive Officer(CEO) says the mobile company will continue to connect Swazis across the country through football.
Speaking during the Prize Presentation of the MTN Premier League held at Matsapha on Friday, the CEO said the company commits itself to continue connecting Swazis for years to come.
“We at MTN believe every liSwati deserves the benefits of a modern, connected life. We are able to connect emaSwati through football across the country. We are here to commit that we want to proceed and continue for years to come,” said the MTN CEO as quoted by Government online platforms.
On another note, Acting Sports Minister David Ngcamphalala who was represented by Minister Mabulala Maseko thanked supporters for supporting football.
“Supporters make huge sacrifices, travelling across the country supporting their clubs and buying club merchandise. As a Ministry, we wish to thank all supporters for bringing life into the business of football. I further take this moment to thank all who work to ensure the smooth operations of the football machinery,” said Minister Mabulala Maseko as quoted by Government online platforms.
Royal Leopards were crowned as 2021/22 were crowned MTN Premier League Champions while Seven Dreams were officially announced as MTN National First Division Champions.
