PM Dlamini Meets Archbishop Duncan-Williams before Conference

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini today received a courtesy call from Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams of the Republic of Ghana at the Private and Cabinet Office. The Archbishop is in Eswatini attending the Women at the Well (WAW) Conference at Jesus Calls Worship Centre in Matsapha.

The Archbishop commended the Kingdom’s leadership and its resolve in upholding Eswatini’s cultural identity despite pressures to conform to foreign ideologies. He also offered his wishes for the nation to endure and prosper in the face of its challenges.

The meeting served as an opportunity to brief the Archbishop on the African Union’s initiative, championed by His Majesty the King, to form a unified governance structure for traditional leaders across the continent beginning with the Traditional Leaders Conference next week. The central role of faith in Eswatini, demonstrated through national prayers led by Their Majesties, was also discussed.

The meeting concluded with a prayer from the Archbishop for the nation and its leadership.
