PUDEMO Deputy President Wandile Dludlu Says Tinkhundla System has a History of Killing those who Fight Corruption

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Wandile Dludlu, the Deputy President of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) has accused Tinkhundla system of having a history of killing those who fight corruption. Says Prime Minister Major General Prince Maphevu Died while Preparing to Arrest Corrupt Cabinet Ministers.

Speaking on Sunday during Visionary Perspective Program hosted by human rights defender Velaphi Mamba, the PUDEMO Deputy President said, His Excellency, Prime Minister Major General Prince Maphevu died while fighting corruption.

“We strongly believe that, Prime Minister Prince Maphevu was killed by the regime for fighting corruption. He was against corruption such that, he even traveled to Switzerland on a Fact Finding Mission after receiving information suggesting that, some Ministers within his Cabinet had bank accounts in that country,” said the PUDEMO Deputy President.

Dludlu said Prince Maphevu was a soldier and uneducated but, he valued education such that, his Cabinet was dominated by educated Ministers.

“Dr Hynd was the Minister of Health under Maphevu’s Cabinet and that’s why the health system at the time was stable and strong. People were able to receive quality medical care inside the country,” he said.
