Africa-Press – Eswatini. Sicelo ‘KhungaNkhosi’ Dlamini, the Mayiwane Member of Parliament(MP) has congratulated three(3) senior Correctional Services Officers who retired this week and vacated public office without seeking extended contracts.
Responding on Thursday, the MP who has been vocal in Parliament, urging civil servants who have reached the retirement age to go home, consistently maintained that the youth must secure jobs so that there country could develop.
“We congratulate the retirees and we thank them for providing good service to the Nation.Our firm call to have those who have reached the retirement age to go and rest stands, we believe the retirees must be a dictionary for the country and open opportunities for the youth. The country needs to go forward so we need the youth to take up leadership positions to boost economy and for succession purposes,” said the MP.
.Assistant Chief Officer Ernest Dlamini who served the Correctional Services thirty-eight(38) years attended a farewell function held in his honor on Monday.
On the other hand, retired Sergeants Jeremiah Maziya and Mbuyazwe Gina served for 35 years and 32 years respectively were also present, the officers were each presented with a goat and a special gift hamper.
