Africa-Press – Eswatini. Swazi Empowerment Limited members will be smiling all the way to the bank as they will share an interim dividend of E24 million.

According to a notice shared by Eswatini Stock Exchange, the dividend has been declared to ordinary shareholders registered as such in the company’s share register at the close of business on or before June.

The payment of the dividends according to the notice will be no later than tomorrow.

“Normal and withholding tax will be declared from dividends paid to local shareholders and non-resident shareholders respectively where applicable,” reads the notice.

Swaziland Empowerment Limited is an investment holding company engaged in financial intermediation.

The company offers a range of products and services to private, commercial and corporate companies that range from personal and business checking to savings plans, home banking and lending options.

SEL has a 19 per cent stake in the telecommunication entity with Eswatini MTN, It is listed on Eswatini Stock Exchange with a market cap of E684.5 million by the end of May.

It is also a subsidiary of the Public Service Pensions Fund.
