Sisekelo High Class of 2025 Achieves Outstanding Matric Results

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Sisekelo High School has recorded a remarkable academic achievement after attaining a 100 per cent pass rate in the 2025 Independent Examinations Board (IEB) International Senior Certificate (ISC) examinations.

The achievement saw all 39 matric learners successfully complete their final examinations, with 90 per cent qualifying for Bachelor’s degree studies, while the remaining 10 per cent achieved Diploma passes, underscoring the school’s commitment to both excellence and inclusivity.

Learners also delivered strong subject results, collectively earning 62 distinctions (A–A)* and 73 merits (B–B)*. School authorities described the performance as a reflection of learner resilience, effective teaching and a supportive academic environment.

The School principal Ms Winile P. Dlamini praised the Class of 2025 for their discipline and perseverance. “Our learners remained focused throughout the year and approached their examinations with determination and confidence. Their effort has truly paid off,” she said.

The principal added that many learners had already received provisional acceptance from tertiary institutions, which motivated them to work consistently towards achieving their academic goals.

She noted that the success followed a well-planned academic programme, which included early target-setting, continuous assessments and regular academic reviews to identify and support learners who needed assistance. “Every intervention we introduced was intentional and centred on ensuring that no learner was left behind,” she said.

The principal also commended the teaching staff for their dedication, saying teamwork and mentorship played a critical role in the learners’ success. “These results reflect the strength of our teaching team and the supportive learning culture we continue to build at Sisekelo High School,” she said.

School management said the results align with Sisekelo High School’s vision of nurturing globally competitive learners. Appreciation was also extended to parents, guardians and partners for their unwavering support.

Ms Dlamini concluded by congratulating the Class of 2025 for setting a high academic standard and inspiring future learners through their achievement.
