U-TECH OBTAINS 100% PASS RATE IN MATRIC

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Despite challenges experienced last year, U-Tech has obtained 100 per cent pass rate in their Matric examination.

The pupils had to leave their environment for a few months in preparation for their examinations which they wrote at Metropolitan College in Nelspruit.

According to Dr Boy Khumalo, who is the School’s Principal, 52 learners sat for the exam and 44 obtained bachelor passes, six got diploma passes and two obtained higher certificate passes.

U-Tech pupils wrote the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations under South African education quality body, Umalusi, which released the results last week.

Dr Khumalo said they were grateful for the results, especially after the challenging circumstances they faced. He thanked the teachers who did their best in teaching the pupils before they left the country for Nelspruit.

He also praised the pupils for doing their utmost best despite being in a foreign environment.
