Africa-Press – Eswatini. National Under-20 coach Mduduzi ‘Sikhalo’ Nxumalo said they would go out for a win against Mauritius in their last group A match.

This will be the Inyatsi COSAFA Cup Under 20 championships at Somhlolo National Stadium this afternoon.

The junior national side need a win against the Islanders to boost their chances of qualifying to the semi-finals of the annual regional showpiece.

Eswatini suffered a setback in the tournament after they were defeated 2-0 by Zambia on Sunday at the country only football mecca.

“We will work on the finishing today and my boys are looking forward to the match and we hope we will do our best and come out with positive results, “he said.

Geared

Nxumalo further said they had an injury free squad for the last group match.

“The boys are injury free and geared up for the match. We want to fulfil our mandate of reaching the knock–out stage,”.

The nations pride is now hoping to reach the knock-out stage by virtue of being the best finisher slot of the group stages of the annual regional showpiece,

The on-going tournament also serves as a qualifier for 2023 Africa Cup off Nations Under 20 championships to be staged in Egypt next year.
