Africa-Press – Ghana. President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Brazaville, Congo, to attend the investiture ceremony for President Denis Sassou N’Guesso, who has been re-elected for a new five-year term.
President N’Guesso won the March 15th election with 94.82 per cent of the vote, extending his nearly 42-year rule over the Central African oil producer.
President Mahama, who flew to Brazaville after launching his flagship Free Primary Healthcare Programme in Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region on Wednesday, would return to Accra after Thursday morning’s swearing-in ceremony.
