Africa-Press – Ghana. Madam Princess Antwi, the CEO of Carilex Productions, says the newly launched “Atɔeɛ Mbofra Hemaa” beauty pageant will empower young ladies as they deal with issues of teenage pregnancy and drug abuse.
For the next 13 weeks, talented young girls between the ages of 7 and 15 will undergo a rigorous programme that will test their skills, confidence, and passion as they quest to win the ultimate crown.
The 2025 edition of the pageant is themed “Unlocking the Potential of a Girl-Child Through Talent Development and the Fight Against Teenage Pregnancy and Substance.”
Speaking at the launch of the pageant, Madam Antwi said the initiative was aimed at promoting youth welfare and development through a unique blend of entertainment, education, and mentorship.
“The Atɔeɛ Mbofra Hemaa beauty pageant is more than just a competition. It is a platform for our young girls to showcase their talents, culture, and knowledge.
“Our goal is to create a ripple effect that will spread across our region, touching the lives of countless young people.
“Through peer-to-peer education, we aim to empower these young girls to become ambassadors for the change that we seek in our communities,” she said.
She urged the contestants to be confident in showcasing their talent and let their voices be heard as they educate the masses on issues of teenage pregnancy and substance abuse.
“You are the future leaders and we are committed to supporting you, every step of the way,” she added. Madam Antwi urged the contestants to take advantage of this chance to unleash their potential and inspire their peers.
