Africa-Press – Ghana. Mr Eugene Boakye Antwi, former Member of Parliament for Subin and former Deputy Minister, has struck a firm and rallying tone as he addressed the press on the future of the party.

With conviction and clarity, he called for unity across all ranks, emphasizing that the NPP’s main adversary remained the National Democratic Congress (NDC), not fellow party members.

In his interaction with the media, Mr Boakye Antwi underscored the importance of setting aside internal differences and embracing a new era of discipline, loyalty and collective responsibility.

He made it clear that without unity no amount of policy or political maneuvering would be enough to guarantee victory in the next election cycle.

“We have one common enemy and it’s not each other,” he stated, adding that “VICTORY 2028 begins with a UNITED NPP today.”

When quizzed on whether he will be contesting for the General Secretary position, he answered with confidence and subtle assurance: “When the time is up, I will surely contest.

“ He emphasized the need to modernize the party’s operations, systems, and communications to align with the times and prepare it for future governance.

His vision is one rooted in TECHNOLOGY, TRANSPARENCY, and ORGANIZATIONAL EFFICIENCY, aimed at positioning the NPP as not just a ruling party but a governing institution.

Mr Boakye Antwi’s comments have since sparked conversation among party faithful and grassroots organizers, many of whom see him as a steady hand with institutional knowledge and a deep understanding of both party structure and national governance.

As the race for the General Secretary position inches closer, the COURAGEOUS leader appears poised for a leadership comeback, one that could shape the future direction of the party.
