Africa-Press – Ghana. Former Manchester United star Patrice Evra paid a courtesy call on President Nana Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House in Accra on Tuesday. Evra met Ghana’s president, who welcomed the former France captain to the West African country for a working tour.

Evra was greeted warmly when he arrived in Ghana’s capital Accra on Monday night. He told reporters that said he’s looking forward to trying Ghana Jollof.
“I have already seen everything [in Ghana]. Look at the love. I want to see the people, the Ghanaian people. I will definitely try the Jollof, it’s my first time here in Ghana and I’m already overwhelmed,” Evra said.
“The Jollof! the Jollof I need to try it.” Evra, who won several trophies, including the Champions League in the 2007/08 season, is expected to leave Ghana on Friday.
