Lassi Resurrection Power of PCG Gets New Church Building

Africa-Press – Ghana. The Reverend Sam Foster Kwakye, the Chairperson of the Sekyere Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), has dedicated a new chapel for the Lassi Resurrection Power Congregation in the Sene West District of the Bono East Region.

The dedication ceremony also coincided with send-off service for the Rev Enoch Kwame Otchere, the Minister in-charge after serving the congregation for three years.

Rev Kwakye explained that the PCG remained a Christ-centered, self-sustaining and growing church that upholds the centrality of the word of God.

He said through the enablement of the Holy Spirit, the church continued to pursue a holistic ministry to “bring all creation to the glory of God.”

According to Rev Otchere, the out-going resident minister of the Resurrection Power Congregation, the construction of the chapel project began in 2015 under the Rev Daniel Okyei’s administration and funded by the congregation.

He commended the congregation for their dedicated and spiritual services towards the completion of the chapel and thanked God as well.

The service was also attended by Rev Seth Owusu Koranteng, the Sekyere Presbytery Clerk, chiefs and queens as well as some political party leaders in the area.
