Africa-Press – Ghana. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Saturday March 30 held a workshop for their communicators, communication officers and media monitors in the Western North Communications Bureau of the party.

Attendees were trained on the communications strategy of the party for the 2024 general elections and equipped with the necessary information and skills required for the battle ahead.

National Communications officer Sammy Gyamfi said they also inaugurated the Western North Communications Working Committee, who will be assisting the communications bureau in managing the party’s communications in the region.

he said all attendees left the program fired up, with a renewed sense of commitment and determination, to work hard for the victory of H.E John Dramani Mahama and the NDC in the upcoming general elections.

“As we have already done for all Communication Officers in the Bono, Upper East and North East regions, I had the honor to present a laptop to the regional communications bureau and a brand new motorcycle to each of the nine (9) Constituency Communication Officers in the Western North region.

“Profound appreciation to the indefatigable Regional Chairman of the NDC in the Western North Region, Comrade Michael Aidoo, the Chairman of the Western North Communications Working Committee and MP for Juaboso, Hon. Mintah Akandoh, the MP for Bia East, Hon. Richard Acheampong, and all those who in one way or the other, contributed to the success of this impactful program.

“Congratulations to the Western North Regional Communications Bureau led by comrade Sam Jerome for the excellent organization.

“Above all, we are grateful to our father, the flag-bearer and leader of the great NDC and the incoming President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. JDMahama for his continuous support and guidance. Folks, Christ is risen. And those of us who believe in his resurrection and have confessed him as our Lord and savior, were raised together with him,” he said in a statement.
