Africa-Press – Ghana. Parin FC has extended its lead in the Accra North District Football Association (ANDFA) Division Three League after beating African Kings 3–1 in the second round of the competition.
Having lost the league opener 2–1 to the same side in the first round, Coach Eric Nyarko’s boys came into the game determined and eager to get revenge.
Workaholic midfielder Raphael Tetteh, together with Robert Ankrah, ensured a strong midfield presence that helped secure victory for Parin FC.
Jones Adu Baah opened the scoring for Parin in the first half.
Tetteh added two fantastic goals to give Parin FC a 3–0 lead before the break.
Parin FC maintained control in the second half and continued to dominate play.
However, African Kings managed to pull one back in the dying minutes through Mustapha Ibrahim.
After the goal, African Kings pressed for more, with Parin FC occasionally clearing their lines until the final whistle.
Parin FC now has 28 points and remains at the top of the league table.
