Odari seeks new challenge after quitting Oserian

Africa-Press – Kenya. Oserian Ladies’ head coach Hudson Odari has left his position in the Division One side to seek a new challenge as he considers offers from other clubs.

Odari, who has spent 14 years with the Naivasha-based team, said financial problems also played a part in his departure.

“Obviously, I have offers from a Premier League club and several from Division One sides but I am not in a hurry to make a decision. I want to scrutinise all the offers first before making my next move.”

“Lack of finances saw the team dish out three walkovers and they have now been relegated to the regional league. I tried my best to stay put with the team but the situation became unbearable,” Odari added.

He went on: “Self-interest and internal fights within the team have led to the club’s downfall.”

“Working with a ladies’ team for 14 years is not a joke. I am proud I have at least one player in each Premier League team and countless others in the second tier.”
