Africa-Press – Lesotho. The reestablished District Anti-Corruption Committee (DACC) has ramped up efforts to educate government ministries about corruption through targeted training sessions.
This ongoing initiative began after the District Anti-Corruption Committee (DACC) was introduced to Heads of Departments (HODs) in September 2024, following a three-day training conducted by the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Offenses (DCEO) in August.
The introduction paved the way for the committee’s capacity building campaign on corruption.
In an interview with the Agency, DACC Chairman, Mr. Tankisang Mapuru who is also an entrepreneur highlighted the importance of these sessions in equipping government officials with a deeper understanding of corruption both in its systemic impact and within the legal framework.
