Africa-Press – Malawi. Mighty Mukuru Wanderers on Tuesday November 15,2022 fired their head coach Alex Ngwira over a leaked audio in which he is heard accusing team’s Technical Director (TD) Mark Harrison to have interfered in his work.
The team’s Director of Commercialisation and Public Relations, Clement Stambuli, confirmed of Ngwira’s firing over the said leaked audio. ” Yes, he has been fired and replacing him is Technical Director Mark Harrison, ” confirmed Sitambuli.
The former Mzuni FC and Chitipa United mentor was recruited in July this year. His dismissal also comes in the wake of two consecutive defeats which the Nomads have suffered at the hands of Moyale Barracks and Civo Service United in the TNM Super League. This resulted in the Lali Lubani heavyweights missing out on position two in the top flight league’s standings.
