Africa-Press – Mozambique. The Post-Cyclone Reconstruction Office needs about US$1.8 billion to implement recovery projects in the areas affected by natural disasters.
Initially, a cost of around US$3.2 billion was foreseen, of which just over US$1.6 billion was mobilised.
The figures were revealed by Post-Cyclone Reconstruction Office executive director Luís Mandlate at the first provincial forum for inter-institutional coordination, held on Friday (September 10) in Beira, Sofala province.
