
Africa-Press – Mozambique. Mozambique’s National Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (INTIC), will begin the licensing process for Intermediary Providers of Electronic Services and Digital Platform Operators in the country, starting at the end of December this year.
The initiative aims to create a reliable and safe digital environment for users and, according to a statement cited by Domingo online, this registration and licensing establishes rigorous standards, promoting compliance with both local regulations and ethics in the sector.
INTIC is the country’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Regulatory Authority and is under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Higher and Technical Vocational Education.
